We will miss our home with the splendid morning sunrises and colorful sunset views of the Red Mountain and Lava Bed along with the rainbows following a brief shower. The contrast of red rocks with the black rock of the lava bed with the spring and summer green and white snow of winter on Pine Mountain are a sight to behold. Also, we will miss Mr. & Mrs. Roadrunner's morning and afternoon visits to our backyard, patio and deck along with the colorful lizards scurrying over the rocks plus the chirp of frogs in the creek below. We will miss the morning hiking trips on the secret (and best marked) hiking trail in Southern Utah leading across the lava bed to the trails of the Santa Clara Desert Arboretum and the abundance of quail, dove, roadrunners and the curious foxes commonly observed on early morning hikes.
